NO RESOLUTION YET!
totally UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY
After numerous calls, their representative told us to pay the annual fees. Then they would free us from any more costs and cancel our membership.
So we paid and sent notarized papers to them via registered mail. They claimed the papers never arrived but, the papers were signed for by them.

- Being scammed
- Room showed is not example of those stayed in

User's recommendation: Do not trust Windam od Shall Vacation Club . They continue to lie and avoid customer contact Absolutly no customer service.
Cancellation
We have submitted notarized forms three times and sent them registered mail. Shell claims that they never received them even though someone signed for them.

Internet access problems
I was having trouble logging in to the Shell site for vacation and payment. I was able to get hold of the finance over the phone, and log into the site to start auto payments.
The information he gave me still would not allow me into the vacation club site. I had points that were expiring and couldn't access them. The Pissed site was able to help me with the access. I was disappointed to hear that I couldn't bank my points because it was too late.
She did help me to use them before they expire. Use

It was an extremely hostile work environment, and we were encouraged to lie outright to the members ALL THE TIME
Frustration
I had to cancel a vacation and wanted to rebook to a different date to meet up with family. Unfortunately my points were not put back, so I could not rebook.
After contacting Shell Vacations, their IT said they will look into it and call me back in a couple of days. Its been past a couple of days and customer service said it will take at least 2 weeks to get my points back. What good is that?
There may not be any reservations left that I want. I expect to be able to use a product I paid good money for and being told I cannot book anything until they resolve their own issues is unacceptable.

Scamming people to buy timeshare
it is a piece of *** of a timeshare scamming people around the world.
we need the government do something with issue of scamming people into buying timeshare and giving people false hope to have a vacation on the points in the 10 years i own this timeshare i had no vacation through shell vacations club and i pay $ 36000.00 dollar for the timeshare and to
resell it is only worth $ 1.00 if you're lucky to get a buyer. My advice to people not to buy timeshares.

Want a paper billing for my maintenance fees
fees are pricing us out of the club. The newer furnishings are very cheap so its hard to see where are maintenance fees are going.
Satisfaction
Every time I have used my timeshares I have had to fight with managers of where ever I stayed at. Meaning the rooms they gave me where sub stander.
Not getting what I paid for. I felt I should get the room I paid for so finally after complaining I got a better room. As much as I pay per.
Mo. On maintenance and paid in full for the timeshare I should have been treated better.

NO customer service
I am unable to pay my annual maint. fees.
I received no bill and cannot pay online. I don't even no how much I owe. I have been on the phone for over 45 minutes for several days with no contact.
I left (3) emails on the website. What is a person supposed to do.

Verified ReviewerDisappointing Since Day One
We have been Shell Vacations Club members for almost 20 years, and have never been able to use our points the way they initially described. Locations are unavailable, their "affiliates" don't have availability, their "Points" are useless for other things and basically have no value.
In addition, they have changed external exchanges from RCI to Interval back to RCI, which changes the resorts we have access to, and they are also "booked" out a year ahead of time....supposedly.
Our use year starts in October, but our points have to be banked in June, making this process confusing to the point that we have lost points for not banking on exactly June 1st.
Most recently, since Windham took over, the yearly maintenance fees have increased sharply. We were making monthly payments on the maintenance fees, when all of a sudden out of nowhere in April 2020, in the midst of the COVID crisis, we received a collection notice from a collection company for our maintenance fees. We are 20 year members and didn't even receive a call or email prior to this happening. In addition, we cannot even use any of the resorts because of COVID, so it seems reasonable that they would be reducing or reimbursing members for maintenance fees rather than sending them to collections and adding "additional fees" and "collection fees" to the tune of an extra $500 on top of the already high fees.
We could spend the maintenance fees on actual lodging at nice resorts and be spending less!
I highly suggest people stay away from Shell Vacations Club.
They are underhanded and only care about getting their money, not about the people they're selling to. Their claims of enjoying vacation ownership and being able to go wherever you want at the drop of a hat are false and misleading!

I had called the number. They wanted my credit card number and when I wouldn't give it they hung up.

Misrepresented timeshare
Shell Vacations West /Wyndham
They sold us on a week's vacation every year, however, after our first vacation we found out that with the points we had we could not take a week unless we banked our points from the year before and borrow from next year.
Its so frustrating to call to make reservations. You are on the phone for usually 1-2 hours to try to book.
We always had to rearrange our dates and the length of our vacations to cater to Shell. Not the way it was described to us.
Shell represented this program as an affordable luxury, stress-free way to vacation with no blackout dates and ease of use. That could not be further from the truth.
They described the resort as owners only, unfortunately, we found out by talking to other guests that is not true.
We were also led to believe that all the svc properties were the same quality as our Napa Valley property, however, we went to one that was a complete dump.
And the cherry on top is the constant calls from salespeople to get us to upgrade yet again

- Not luxury as described some resorts

us too! So hard to book, so hard to change, limited locations. We have not used a single time in 20 years and they make it very difficult to get out of it.
